HOSEI University’s Global MBA program revolves around two main approaches: classroom learning and practical training.
We provide a good balance between academic study of business administration and practical learning in the field through firsthand experience at Japanese companies.
Internship curriculum play an important role in the practical training aspect of the program.
Students choose from among various local government organizations and companies in Japan and join internship programs to experience Japanese society through hands-on work experience.
In other words, they leave the confines of the business school environment to accumulate real-life business experience in Japanese corporations as well as Japanese society.
At regional public organizations
Get public sector experience and cross-cultural training in the Japanese countryside.
At private sector enterprises
followed by private sector experience at business enterprises in metropolitan areas.
These are provided prior to the internship in order for students to gain exposure to and understanding of: *business professionalism in Japan *Regional government structure in Japan etc..
Periodically, students are required to report their works and experiences to professors. Prompt feedback will lead the training to a deeper learning.
You will present your internship experience, focusing on the organization in which you did your internship, your own experience there, and your individual project (competitiveness assessment or something else).
Real-world business learning experience
We provide the opportunity for students to be exposed to intensive Japanese language and cultural learning, and to real-world workplace conditions.
Gain practical business experience
These enable students to acquire working knowledge and develop critical assessment abilities that form solid foundations for careers as management professionals.
Interaction with local people
Interacting with the local people through a one-month stay of first year internship will be an unforgettable experience.
