On September 13, Hosei University held its Fall 2025 Entrance Ceremony for new students entering the Global MBA (GMBA) Program and the other Hosei English-language Degree Programs, in which all courses are conducted in English.

President Diana Khor welcomed new undergraduate and graduate students to the Hosei community with a warm and encouraging message.

President’s Speech

Followed by the president’s speech, a current student congratulated the new students on their enrollment. Then, one of the new students addressed the president with an aspiring speech.

The heads of each English Degree Program were introduced, including Professor Kenneth Pechter, PhD, the GMBA Program Director.

Thirteen highly motivated and exceptional students enrolled in the GMBA program for the 2025 academic year.

After the formal ceremony, new students enjoyed a friendly and cheerful welcome party with food and drinks. Time flies by when you are having fun! Students shared stories with their peers and Professor Pechter about their cultural backgrounds, educational experiences, life in Japan, food, travel, and more.

Over the next year and a half, the new students will study in the evenings on weekdays and during the day on Saturdays. The coursework is based on a highly selective GMBA curriculum, and students will complete two internship projects toward their MBA during the weekdays for selected periods of their studies..

Congratulations and best of luck in all your academic endeavors!
